Today the swim trial was great. I met the timing thus is now eligible to participate in the coming biathlon. Was a close call though. I thought that it was my last lap already but was shocked when i was told that i still have one more to go and only have 3 mins. Of course 3 mins is a long time but i was just caught off guard. Gladly i still make it in time. Pheew!
However, my training does not stop here for there is still a long way for me to go before i am considered ready for the biathlon. Thus i will continue to train until the very biathlon.
I may have said this already but i will like to say this agn to all those who have wished me luck for the trial. Thx a lot..

Used books for sale at Bras Basah
Left house in the afternoon.
Waited for bus 980 for damm long.. 3-4 bus 167 passed by. there were lots of training transit bus though. Hope that there will be more bus 980 in e future.
The moment i reach Bras Basah complex, there is one shop called the evernew bookstore that sells used books. I went in to take a look. There were not many variety. Besides their shop seems quite messy to me. However they got some books that are really cheap. If you have the time to look through all their books maybe you can find something thats is really cheap and u like it.
Besides this shop, i found a shop that i think that is the best Used book shop in Bras Basah complex. Its called the Knowledge Book Centre. it is located at 03-35 and 03-37B. Currently it is having a discount up to 50%. There is also a vast variety of used books. The shop at 03-35 sells mostly textbooks and references. They sells both used and new books.
However if you are unable to find what u want in Knowledge Book Centre (KBC), you can visit another shop called the Book Point (BP) located just next to KBC at 03-15, 03-17, 03-19. Its quite similar to KBC but the books at BP may be more expensive than KBC. Should be still quite reasonable.
Both KBC and BP opens from Mon-thurs 10am-7pm, Fri 230pm-7pm and Sat, Sun, Public holidays 1030am-6pm.
In addition, there are quite a few Used book shops that are supposed to be in Bras Basah complex but cannot be found. This are e few shops; international book 03-19, new cultural org 02-99 and shanghai book 02-73.
Anyways i will be taking my swim trial tomo at Safra tampines. If everything goes well, i should be able to just pass the trial.

Today i went yo Yio Chu Kang swimming complex once again. My friend, Josh just came back from Japan so he joined us. Together with him, we swam 1.5 km non stop. We were neck to neck through out. Hmm... Its either we are both good or we were both as bad.. haha.. anyways both of us just meet the cut of timing which is 40mins. It my 1st time meeting the timing so i was quite relieve for my trial swim is this coming thurs. If everything goes well, i should able to pass.. :) Pray for me..
